This wing deployment linkage project was designed for use in the military and aerospace industries. Beginning with a customer-supplied print, we were able to use a 5-axis CNC milling machine to execute profile milling, drilling, tapping, and contour surface machining. The final anodized component, manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum, measured 6 inches long, 2.5 inches wide, and .750 inches high, and featured helicoil threaded inserts. In total, 5 talon missile wing deployment linkages were manufactured.
